How your community group could use TechAtlas:

TechAtlas could be a great tool for your community group to use as a simple click-through guide and tool to help you assess your technology needs.

TechAtlas describes the use of their “Basic Interactive Technology Assessment Tool” as follows:

Not sure where to start with your technology plan? Not sure if your technology meets your organization’s needs? The interactive Basic Technology Assessment is essentially a survey that asks you about your current technology in straight-forward English. (You don’t have to be a technical person to use it!) Then, based on your answers to the questions, TechAtlas generates project recommendations for you to review with your staff. Recommendations not only include a rationale to share with decision-makers, how-to steps for getting it done, and further resources for more information; but they ultimately can be prioritized and printed out as a text document with the Technology Plan Creator.
